Shipping & Receiving Lead

KPG is associated with a thriving manufacturing company seeking a Shipping/Receiving Lead to join their team

The ideal

Schedule: Monday-Friday from 7am-3:30pm + occasional overtime

Pay range: $21-$25 per hour, depending on experience

Job Duties:

• Oversee the receiving process, including unloading trucks, inspecting shipments, and verifying quantities
• Ensure all received materials are properly labeled, tagged, and stored in designated locations
• Collaborate with warehouse management to develop and implement efficient receiving procedures
• Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain accurate stock levels
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues with incoming shipments
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as needed

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of previous experience in Shipping /Receiving, preferably within the manufacturing industry
• Strong leadership abilities to effectively supervise a team of receiving personnel
• Strong knowledge of shipping and receiving processes, including inventory control
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
• Familiarity with Epicor or other warehouse management systems
• Proficiency in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
