Overview:

Three (3) years of experience in DOD security policies and procedures. Must have experience with analyzing and evaluating the policies, access controls, management and organizational structures, operating procedures, and control environment of departments processing information on computer systems. Must have experience with advising and assisting in developing, implementing, and administering effective security programs.

Specific Duties include:

Perform Security accreditation and certification analysis and adhere to the processes in accordance with DoD and Familiarity with DoN guidance, standards, and instructions such as DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF), and Platform Information Technology (PIT).

Development and maintenance of RMF package and the Request for PIT Risk Approvals, conduct vulnerability assessments, develop and execute security test plans and procedures, and facilitate accreditation decision from the appropriate approval authority.

Creation and modification of existing process documentation to reflect how Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) will be addressed. Ability to perform Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) tracking and assessment.

Ensure System technical designs comply with IA requirements as delineated in the Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) found on the DISA IA Support Environment (IASE) website, and that IA measures and design characteristics are correctly implemented.

Provide system security impacts and record Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Statement of Functionality (SOF), and other technical and program documentation.
