Job Summary:

This is a job that requires a lot of self-accountability. E-Commerce Associate needs to be able to stay on top of incoming inventory and upload products in a timely manner without constant supervision or needing to be reminded about checking inventory levels for their assigned departments.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

 

- Fulfilling orders that are placed online and shipping them out in a timely fashion.

- Attending to customers’ needs via phone or email communication.

- Uploading product to the website:

o Downloading images or taking photos

o Writing unique, SEO style descriptions of products

- Working with buyers to pre-upload products that they need prioritized.

- Shipping out packages for the store, non-freight.

o RTV ship-outs

o Store ship-outs

o Special orders

- Keeping tracking of pricing quotes and paperwork for the accounting department.

- Work with data entry on missing inventory or online price adjustments

- Working with marketing department to upload items need for social media purposes.

- Help maintain a functioning web site.

- Maintain the Amazon store front.

o Fulfill Amazon orders.

o Manage customer service messages, returns, and exchanges.

o Add products to the store front.

o Ensure the status of our page.

 

 

Performance Evaluation

The performance of the E-Comm Associate will be evaluated based on timeline given at the time of position offering.

 

Qualifications

 

1. Strong writing skills

2. Knowledge in using a DSLR camera (can be taught)

3. Able to use Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop (can be taught)

4. Self-motivated

5. Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
