We are seeking a reliable lead carpenter to join our team

Our company does a broad variety of residential renovation projects from rough to finished carpentry, mainly kitchen and bathroom remodels. We are base in Holly, MI and serve the North Oakland County and surrounding areas.

• Full-time, year-round position with a starting compensation ranging from $30-32 per hour during the 90-day introductory period. Afterward, wages will be based on performance and observed skills, with the potential to reach $32-40 per hour for the right individual.
• Accumulation of two weeks of vacation begins after 90 days, and holidays are paid after 90 days as well.
• Monthly tool allowance accumulation after 30 days.

Lead Carpenter Responsibilities:

• Assigning and explaining tasks to the project team.
• Supervise and guide the company's field carpenters and semi-skilled workers.
• Executing and performing a wide variety of carpentry duties required, including both rough and finish carpentry.
• Complete remodeling projects on-schedule, while meeting or exceeding budget goals and quality standards.
• Maintaining accurate records of all work done by the project team.

Job Requirements:

• 5+ years relevant and proven work experience.
• Proven knowledge and experience in rough and finished carpentry along with specialty trades- drywall, plumbing, electrical, tile and paint.
• Must have your own hand tools.
• Must have valid drivers license and your own reliable transportation.
• Having a trailer would be a big plus
• Able to pick up materials if/when needed.
• Must be able to work on jobsites alone at times or lead 1 or more. 
• Strong work ethic, professional, reliable, great attitude, and good leadership/communication skills.
