Job DescriptionJob Description

Summary:

  • Performs responsible semiskilled work in processing orders, receiving, performing quality inspections, moving materials within the warehouse, and loading/unloading trucks; does related work as required. Work is performed under the direction of the Warehouse Manager.

Responsibilities include:

  • Operating a forklift and other equipment as needed.
  • Preparing orders based on packing lists.
  • Verifies color, shade, and quantity selected for shipment.
  • Palletizes cartons according to shipping orders.
  • Moves pallets of material within warehouse and into/ off of trucks.
  • Ensures trucks are loaded properly according to the shipping order.
  • Maintains order and condition of all material stored in warehouse.
  • Inspects assigned equipment on a daily basis.
  • Performs general housekeeping duties.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Forklift experience required.
  • Ability to work in high areas.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal communication
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Tile experience plus but not required.
