Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Loader/Unloader to join our team at a fast-paced distribution center. The primary responsibility of this role is to efficiently load and unload materials, ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse.
Duties:
- Safely and efficiently load and unload materials from trucks or containers
- Operate heavy equipment such as cherry pickers, clamp trucks, and order pickers
- Assist in building and stacking pallets for shipping
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including OSHA regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in materials handling, shipping/receiving, or warehouse operations preferred
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation such as cherry pickers and clamp trucks
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet physical demands of the job
- Knowledge of distribution center processes and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience as a warehouse supervisor is a plus
- Certification in operating heavy equipment
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations related to warehouse safety
