2nd Shift Machine Repair Technician

Finish Technician/Machine Repair Technician Summary:
- $21.37/hr ($19.37 + $2.00/hr shift premium)
- Full Time: 2nd Shift 3pm - 11:30pm + overtime as needed
- Working with a team, after completing 3 day training program, to repair and maintain production equipment in a safe and efficient condition while performing all other tasks required to support manufacturing.
- Using hand tools, power tools, forklift, scissor lift, and ladders.
- Participate in all safety training provided including scissor lift and fork truck.
- Correct and improvement of all finish area machine conditions.
- Follow and complete work orders.
- Mentor and improve finish equipment setup, operation, startup and shutting down tasks.
- Responsible for machine performance.
- Perform as back up for spray booth operator and pump room attendants.
- Respond as needed to machine downtime issues, evaluate and repair or assist as needed to resume operations on timely basis working overtime if needed.
- Troubleshooting of equipment or machine failures and quality issues using problem solving skills.
- Work independently or with a team demonstrating cooperation and strong teamwork with direct supervision.
- Communicate at a technical level with teammates as well as communicating to production team members regarding the performance of the finish equipment.
- Work closely with Maintenance on larger scale issues.
- Basic electrical knowledge to read schematics of new or existing equipment including knowledge on functionality of equipment under human machine interfaces.
- HS Diploma/GED is preferred, but not required.
- Experience in repair and set up of machines.
- Lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 100lbs.
- The ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop an entire shift (can be 8-10 hours)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic electrical knowledge
- Forklift experience
- Scissor lift experience
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
