Responsibilities:

  • Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons.
  • Interact with customers, take orders, and serve snacks and drinks.
  • Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations.
  • Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks.
  • Check customers' identification to ensure they meet age requirements for purchase of alcohol.
  • Handle the POS terminal and process transactions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area.
  • Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
  • Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
  • Stay guest-focused and nurture an excellent guest experience.
  • Work with other staff members to ensure a smooth operation and high level of service.

Qualifications:

  • Proven working experience as a bartender.
  • Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks.
  • Computer literacy and familiarity with restaurant management software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean.
  • Relevant training certificate (e.g., Bartending License, SAFE or TIPS Certification).
