Certified Nurse Assistant CNA

Elite Healthcare Resources is looking for multiple local CNAs in the Napa, CA area
Unit: Skilled Nursing/Short-Term Rehabilitation/Post-Acute
Shift type: Full-Time Contract or Per Diem
Length: 4 weeks (Option to extend contract if mutually desired) or Daily
Shift: AM, PM, or NOC
Hours: 8-hour shifts
Pay Rate: Daily rate is $200.00 + based on experience and location
Responsibilities:
· Basic care services such as bathing, grooming, feeding, assisting nurses with medical equipment, and checking patient vital signs
· Providing patients with important social and emotional support
· Providing vital information to nursing staff relating to patients
· Monitor the health conditions of the patients served and ensure quality services are provided
· Initiate emergency procedures on an as needed basis
· Use equipment correctly and safely
· Report any hazardous conditions, equipment, accidents, or incidents to supervisor
· Maintain current progress notes and any other appropriate documentation
· Actively participate in training as required
· Ability to effectively communicate with staff, patients, and families
· Maintain confidentiality and treat others with dignity and respect in all you do
· Other Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) duties as assigned
Initial Requirements for Eligibility:
· Resume
· Copy of State Issued Driver's License OR Identification Card
· Competency Skills Disclosure, LGBT+ & Elderly and Dependent Adult Abuse Training (Provided by Elite)
· Professional Reference
· Current California CNA Certification/Licensure
· Current Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), CPR, or First Aid
