EHS Technician (Environmental Health and Safety Technician)

A leading manufacturer of agricultural pesticides is looking to immediately hire a qualified EHS
Technician.

Responsibilities
Support the EHS Department Management in various tasks related to environmental protection
and safety for the Companies manufacturing facilities and warehouses.
Duties will include:

•  Maintain and calibrate environmental testing instrumentation;
•  Maintain inventory of sampling kits and supplies;
•  Collect and analyze environmental samples for environmental compliance reporting and record-keeping;
•  Conduct and document facility inspections for compliance requirements;
•  Maintain data, records, and documentation for EHS compliance activities;
•  Write and edit reports;
•  Assist in the development and implementation of safety and environmental programs under the guidance of the EHS and   Company Management;
•  Perform daily administrative support tasks in the office.

Desired Skills and Experience

•  Bachelor’s degree in science-related discipline (geology, chemistry, biology, engineering, environmental science, or safety) preferred;
•  Proficiency with MS Office, especially Word and Excel;
•  Ability to walk long distances inside and out of manufacturing facilities and on uneven terrain;
•  Ability to work in all kinds of weather;
•  Above average writing skills;
•  Experience in Environmental Compliance and/or Safety a plus
•  Must have reliable transportation. Mileage will be paid for company travel.

Successful candidate will be a team player, willing to learn and grow and expand their
experience in the EHS field.
Salary Range - $45K an up based on experience.
