Job Title: Fiberglass Assembler
Location:  Austin, TX
Pay rate:    $25/hour on W2 basis
Duration:   06 Months (Temp to Perm)     

 Position Summary: -  
Our client  is seeking a candidate with composite or fiberglass experience. The position involves a variety of fabrication and processing operations in order to build and finish fiberglass reinforced parts. • Perform composite layup and mechanical assembly operations to military specification by utilizing process sheets, drawings and written instructions. • Operate various air powered tools to assemble/disassemble molds, sand and patch block assemblies. • Operate a cabinet sand blaster. • Operate a bandsaw. • Candidate will be expected to wear appropriate company provided PPE required to perform tasks. • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time to operate machinery and hand sand assemblies. • Will handle various chemicals, epoxies and resins associated with assembly of fiberglass products. • Ability to lift 25lbs. • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products and be able to use a computer. Will be expected to review demands presented in automated systems, interpret written work instructions, and work with cell leads and factory management to develop strategies to meet requirements while managing targets associated with Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost. Must have greater than one (1) year experience working with fiberglass or autobody type work. High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to pass drug and background screenings. US citizenship 

Skills Required: - 

1+ years of experience in working with Fiberglass / composites or automotive body work / bondo type repair. Experience with using epoxy dispensers, curing ovens, air powered sanders.

Experience Required: -  
Requires two (2) years of a High School or Trade School education.

Requires two (2) years of a High School or Trade School education.
