Monitoring Technician I

The Monitoring Technician I serve as a resource for technical support dealing with lighting issues. Follows through with solutions to issues, assists regarding monitoring platform, problem analysis, and tracking.
Functions:
- Knowledge of compliance with FAA standards.
- Removal of the NOTAMs from the Drake monitoring platform.
- Submit NOTAMs from the Drake monitoring platform.
- Basic knowledge of lighting systems.
- Interface with service personnel
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills:
- Exceptional communication, both written and verbal.
- Excellent problem-solving and time management skills.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Strong multitasking, prioritizing, and organizational skills, telephone communication skills.
- Able to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Shift: Monday - Thursday 3PM-12AM
The onboarding process for the first couple of weeks would not adhere to the permanent shift schedule for the role, initially. The new employee would shadow us in the department so they can learn the processes and programs needed to complete the basic duties and responsibilities of the position. Once they have demonstrated thorough understanding of the role, we could then have them begin their normal shift at night by themselves.
