Job DescriptionJob Description
  • Assist patients by providing rehabilitative services to children with intellectual, physical, social/emotional, sensory processing, or developmental impairments
  • Provide a treatment plan developed in collaboration with an occupational therapist
  • Follow the treatment plan developed in collaboration with an occupational therapist
  • Record and maintain adequate clinical/progress notes for all patients
  • Monitor individual activities to ensure they are performed correctly
  • Guide the patient in the use of therapeutic creative and self-care activities for the purpose of improving functions
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures that comply with legal regulations
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Current licensure for Occupational Therapy Assistant in practicing state and/or nationally certified.
