GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

A Deployment Specialist plans and supports new machine installations, software and hardware upgrades, and other onsite services. To initiate these processes, this individual collaborates with our project management team. Projects may involve assisting with the physical installation, transfer of settings or data, and configurations to meet our customer needs. This position will require travel to our customer branches where needed. This role is an integral part of our operations as they serve as both the face of our company and are responsible for delivering the world-class service that our clients have grown to be accustomed to.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

In order of importance – Include frequency (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually, etc.

  • Responsible for the installation and configuration of software and hardware on ATM/ITM, recycler, Quickchange, and other desktop items.
  • Assist with machine installation as needed.
  • Software and network configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Software installation (if needed).
  • Work with a variety of tools and technologies.
  • Provide training to the customers as needed.
  • Work proactively to insure that services delivered are aligned to the client needs.
  • Maintain accountability for parts inventory and company assets.
  • Provide project management support and maintain databases to keep projects on schedule.
  • Support other departments as necessary- backup service calls when not on project.
  • All other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & TRAINING

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3-4 years related experience

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

  • Vendor-specific hardware certification desired (Glory and NCR internal training).
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing Field Service Technician position preferred.
  • Minimum 3 year experience with electromechanical equipment servicing (ATM or banking equipment strongly preferred).
  • Knowledge of software installation and troubleshooting in a windows environment.
  • Thorough knowledge of basic electronics.
  • Strong technical knowledge.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Clean driving record.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Hands-on experience with deploying machines and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision making and troubleshooting skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Effective customer and co-worker communication, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage time.
  • Possess the ability to manage and research assignments independently.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
