Global Equipment Excavating & Contracting, Inc. is looking for a Pipelayer or an assistant to a pipe layer with the experience and skills for installation of water mains, sewer mains, manholes, and stormwater systems.

Responsibilities

• Experience in the installation of water main pipes, sewer mains, sewer manholes, and storm systems.
• Report to the assigned job site/shop every day having your own reliable transportation.
• Follow the company safety policy with no exceptions.
• Be able to work in an outdoor field environment; exposure to noise, dust, grease, vibrations, and all types of weather and temperature conditions.
• Get tools & equipment out to prepare for work day.
• Ensure tools & equipment is safely and securely stored at the end of the day in a location designated.
• Advise the Foreman of any requirements for maintenance or repairs.
• Participate in routine maintenance.
• Practice workplace safety.

Qualifications:

• 2 years experience installation of water main pipes, sewer mains, sewer manholes, and storm systems.
• People who are reliable, responsible, self-motivated, and take pride in themselves and their work.
• People who are willing to pay attention & learn from others and can take instruction from others.
• Strong work ethic and physical ability to lift 75+ pounds
