Position Overview: We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses for our Medical/Surgical Unit. This role involves providing high-quality care to adult patients with a variety of medical, surgical, cardiac, or neurologic conditions. The diverse nature of Med/Surg care will enhance your clinical skills and offer a broad scope of practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care: Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, implement and evaluate care plans, and provide direct nursing care.
  • Support: Supervise non-licensed nursing staff and provide education and emotional support to patients and families.
  • Specialty Areas: Work with patients in general, urology, and vascular post-surgical care, with opportunities to learn monitoring and care for sicker-than-average Med/Surg patients.

  • Number of Beds: 49
  • Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 6:1
  • Specialty Areas: Neuro/Ortho/Nephrology

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of acute care RN experience (recent experience not required).
  • Education: ADN or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
  • Licensure: Current RN license in Missouri or compact state.
  • Certifications: BLS required upon hire.
