Catering Coordinator

Prime Barbecue, located in Knightdale, NC, is looking for a driven, motivated, and team-oriented individual for our Catering Coordinator Role.

The Catering Coordinator works with the Catering & Event Director to plan, as well as manage, all the needs of events and catering services. Responsibilities include but are not limited to, great communication skills, providing excellent customer service, maintaining a high level of organization, creating and executing event timelines, maintaining proper inventory of all catering equipment and supplies, and assisting leadership with budgeting. The qualified candidate will also assist in communicating food preparation/presentations at both in-house and offsite events. The catering coordinator will always be a liaison and representative of Prime Barbecue by welcoming clients along with their guests. The ability to be punctual and manage your time efficiently is a must

Qualifications:

* High School Graduate with an associate's degree in hospitality or equivalent in experience.

* Strong Customer service skills.

* Self-motivated with a high energy level.

* Can multitask and carry out daily responsibilities effectively and efficiently.

*Shows professionalism in all aspects of the job and maintains business confidentiality.

*Adheres to all safety and health regulations along with ensuring staff does the same. Recommend Safe Serve Certification.

* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Docs.

* Good standing driving record, reliable transportation, and ability to drive the company catering vehicles.

* Must be able to work a flexible schedule with early start times and late evenings dependent on catering and event schedule.

* Ability to regularly lift 25+lbs and capable of standing and moving for the entire shift.

* Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.

* Organized and Punctual
