Construction Superintendent

CG Builders, LLC is seeking a Construction Superintendent to join our team You will oversee daily field planning, scheduling, and implementation of commercial construction projects.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of commercial construction projects in the field.
• Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors.
• Interact and build relationships with project inspectors, subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and clients.
• Implement quality control, safety, and security practices and procedures.
• Read, review, interpret, and execute architectural, structural, and shop drawings, project manuals, and approved submittals.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to plans and specifications.
• Work with Project Managers to develop project schedules and to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Complete and maintain daily project status documentation and field reports.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in commercial construction site management.
• Ability to work independently and maintain schedules.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and negotiation shills.
• Deadline and detail oriented.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer/Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to work throughout Maryland and surrounding areas.

Compensation:

• Salaries starting at $70,000 depending upon experience.
