CVOR Tech Needed for Travel Assignment in Milwaukee, WI
Position: CVOR Technologist (Cardiovascular Operating Room Technician)
Location:Milwaukee, WI
Duration: 13-week travel assignment
Shift: Monday to Friday schedule, 5x8hour shifts. On-call requirement with a 30-minute response time.
Shift Time:M-F 0530am-1400pm
On call schedule:on call 1 weekend/month and post shift call once/week
Requirements:
- Must be actively certified by The National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) ONLY & possess an active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Strong CVOR background is needed across all specialties ability to work independently with minimal guidance in the following cases: CABG, TAVR, Valve replacements, Thoracic cases are robotic (lobectomy, hernia repair), Generator exchanges, Lead extractions, Heart transplants, Fem-Pop Bypass
- Experience in fast paced environment
- Minimum of 2 years of recent CVOR experience required.
- BLS certification required.
Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced CVOR Tech to join our team for a 13-week travel assignment in Milwaukee, WI. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiovascular operating room procedures, including open heart surgeries, and will be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist surgical team during cardiovascular procedures, including open heart surgeries.
- Prepare operating room and equipment for procedures.
- Maintain sterile field throughout surgical procedures.
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and provide support as required.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as regulatory guidelines.
