Lumina Solar is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to join our Logistics team in Palm, PA.
In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the warehouse, and will play an integral role in the daily operations of Lumina Solar by ensuring that installation teams have the necessary materials for their projects, maintaining appropriate inventory levels, and upholding the warehouse to the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and safety.
In this role, you'll get to:
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse that reflects Lumina Solar's standards
Stage materials for multiple outgoing projects per day
Accurately prepare documentation for Installation crews
Receive, confirm, and verify all incoming orders for accuracy
Complete daily data entry and administrative tasks as assigned
Manage inventory and maintain consistent stock levels by working within the department as well as vendors to procure materials
Work with Procurement in order to maintain an adequately stocked warehouse
Perform other duties as needed for the effective and successful operation of the department
Adapt to new technology as we continue to improve our inventory management system
Handle miscellaneous support functions as assigned by Logistics
On your first day, we'll expect you to have:
Minimum of 6 months of experience operating a Forklift, and a valid Forklift certification
Comfortably able to lift 75lbs, climb ladders, and work in varying temperatures both indoors and outdoors
Proficiency with computers as well as a basic understanding of Microsoft/Google Suite products (Word, Excel, etc…)
Strong organization skills and able to handle detailed information while meeting deadlines
Ability to set priorities in order to complete daily and assigned tasks both cooperatively and independently.
Strong communication skills in order to effectively coordinate between multiple departments
Ability to multitask in a fast paced, community environment successfully
Must possess a valid Driver’s License
It's great, but not essential, if you have:
Warehouse or construction background
Knowledge of Solar PV equipment and installation standards
Knowledge of Salesforce
Minimum of high school diploma or GED
OSHA Certification
