Laguna Hills based Manufacturing Company seeks experienced Machinists.
Job Shop environment.
Should have your own tools and toolbox.
The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Ability to read and explain Blueprints, Engineering Changes, and Manufacturing Instructions.
Mathematics skills: Geometry, Algebra and Trigonometry.
Use of all measuring instruments including Dial Bore Gauge, Micrometer and Comparator.
Comprehensive understanding of tool geometries, materials, and coatings.
Must be knowledgeable in tooling selection and speeds / feeds.
Problem solving skills.
Maintain a safe, clean and orderly work area.
Must be able to be able to listen carefully to verbal and written instructions.
Load and edit Programs.
Tool Changes and Compensations.
Must be able to load material in and out of the machines.
Must keep machine properly maintained.
Any other duties as required.
Minimum Training and Experience:
3 years' experience setting-up and/or operating mills and/or lathes, or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities.
