Civil Drafter  

 

Dynamic, rapidly growing, and privately owned surveying company is in need of a Civil Drafter. Our and company is a recognized leader with a reputation built on quality, reliability, and trust. If you have drafting, mapping, plats, 3 D modeling and land surveying experience, you may qualify for this opportunity.  This position reports directly to the President.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

 

·         Plan and complete all necessary design work to our high-quality standards

·         Create technical drawings

·         Produces legal descriptions, boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and plats

·         Prepares and reviews technical documents including deeds, titles, reports, and construction plans

·         Produce high quality shop drawings from architectural drawings, sketches, specifications, verbal, and supplemental documentation

·         Drawings to include fully defined elevations, cross sections and details, finishes, bill of material lists

·         Assist in research and all stages of a job cycle

 

Essential Qualifications:

 

·         Verifiable use of Auto Cad for graphic instructions to include work orders, blueprints, schematic drawings, layouts, and other visual aids

·         Ability to multitask, follow-through and meet commitments

·         Demonstrated exceptional customer service skills

·         Demonstrated excellence with English communication skills, both written and oral

·         Degree preferred in Surveying or Drafting

·         Proficiency in CAD software AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit

·         Understanding of drafting standards and conventions

·         Knowledge of design software Civil 3D, Infraworks

·         Skill in creating and editing 2D and 3D models and surfaces

·         Understanding of mathematical concepts (e.g., geometry, trigonometry)

·         Ability to interpret and follow design specifications
