We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Material Handler II with experience in manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling inbound shipments, ensuring accurate inventory management, complete picking / packing activities, and maintaining a smooth workflow within the warehouse by providing support when and where needed. This position requires excellent communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against shipping documents, and inspect packages for damage or discrepancies.
  • Complete goods receipt transactions within the ERP system for both internally purchased and externally supplied raw materials.
  • Accurately print Quarantine Labels generated by the ERP system and complete the physical labeling of materials.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, stock levels, locations, and status within the ERP system.
  • Perform regular inventory counts and participate in periodic audits to ensure inventory accuracy, and safely and efficiently operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, following all safety guidelines and protocols.
  • Organize and maintain the warehouse to ensure a clean and orderly work environment.
  • Follow established procedures for packaging, labeling, and documenting hazardous materials, if applicable.
  • Complete the physical picking and packaging of finished good materials in preparation for shipment.
  • Accurately update inventory by completing transactions within the ERP system to reflect what quantities have been picked and packed for shipment and balances being returned to stock.
  • Complete line clearances for completed packaging.
  • Maintain supply inventory for packaging materials used during the packing process and submit requests for ordering additional supplies in a timely manner.
  • Participate in trouble shooting activities for inventory discrepancies, deviations, and shipping errors, if applicable.
  • Complete bin to bin transfers within the ERP system as material status is updated by QA / QC personnel designating Quarantined, Released or Rejected status. Execute the physical labeling and transfer of materials to the designated locations accordingly.
  • Initiate and complete STR’s (Stock Transfer Requests) as needed for the movement of raw materials and finished goods between company sites.
  • Drive the company van in a safe manner adhering to all traffic laws and regulations while completing STR’s.
  • Complete shipments in FEDEX ship manager system to support overall shipping efforts as needed.
  • Support all warehouse activities and team members as priorities and workloads shift.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety regulations, to maintain a secure and compliant work environment.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience as a Warehouse Material Handler with a focus on general warehouse activities including receiving and pick / pack activities.
  • Experience with FEDEX ship manager system for processing domestic and international shipments.
  • Forklift certification or experience required.
  • Strong understanding of receiving processes, including familiarity with receiving documents and tracking systems.
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with inventory management software (ERP systems), and Microsoft Office Suite. Prior experience with Oracle NetSuite a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic work environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in handling and documenting shipments.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with team members and carriers.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy items, as well as operate warehouse equipment.
  • Familiarity with safety guidelines and procedures related to warehouse operations.
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or overtime, as required.

Physical Job Requirements:

Lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds. Work with and around forklifts and pallet jacks
