Shift: 2nd Shift | 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Entry Level Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. This role involves maintaining and repairing industrial production and processing machinery, with a focus on growth and career advancement. Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure the right candidate's success in this exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Machinery Maintenance and Repair:

    • Repair and maintain industrial production machinery, including packaging lines, conveyors, and palletizers.
    • Perform preventative maintenance on production machines to ensure optimal performance.
    • Replace defective parts using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Understand and work with power transmission systems, timing pulleys, and belts.
    • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, manuals, and manufacturer instructions in English.
    • Preferred experience with HMI screens, servo motors, and controllers.

  • Component Replacement:

    • Replace industrial motors, gear motors, and bearings as needed.
    • Maintain and repair power transmission components, ensuring efficient operation.

  • Safety and Compliance:

    • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
    • Ensure compliance with company and industry standards.

  • Collaborative Work:

    • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate maintenance activities.
    • Assist with training and mentoring less experienced team members as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 1 to 2 years of experience as an Industrial Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic.
  • Prior experience in machinery maintenance or related fields.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment.
  • Ability to manage physical workload, including lifting and moving heavy components.
  • Knowledge of power transmission, timing pulleys, belts, and related components.
  • Experience in replacing industrial motors, gear motors, and bearings.
