Job DescriptionJob Description- Develops and maintain marketing plan and sales budget with the General Manager.
- Provides sales training to front office staff.
- Participates in revenue management calls.
- Schedule and completes sales appointments.
- Attends business, community and civic affair events in the local area.
- Ensures teamwork and enhances cooperation between all departments.
- Works with operations team to greet group events.
- Secure group business for hotel, blocking rooms, sending contract and follow up on cut off dates.
- Assists with follow up on room lists, direct bill and other requirements of previously booked business.
- Facilitates inside sales leads and help with strategy to develop sales plans.
- Maintain sales files and ensure accurate entry in sales system.
- Organize work week to include a strong prospecting plan each week targeting business for hotel needs.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
