  • The Position: We’re looking for a candidate to fill the Manager of Recovery and Processing position, this position will support the Director of Tissue Operations.
  • Job Type: Full Time Employee
Objective of this role·       Manage all tasks related to incoming tissue recovery.·       Ensure all tasks related to incoming tissue processing, and recovery are complete.·       Maintaining the highest-level standard of the recovery and processing team.·       Design and Implement Training practices for the tissue services team. ·       Handle the human resource functions for direct reports on the recovery and processing team  Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and serve as the 'Champion' for Best Practices for the recovery and processing team, as well as clientele.
  • Lead the recovery and processing team by fostering an environment consistent with Innoved’s mission, vision, and values. 
  • Provide leadership mentoring for direct reports, including identification of future leaders, as well as ideal positions for all employees on the recovery and processing team. 
  • Plan and design training for newly hired and existing employees to generate consistent team results. 
  • Expected to be actively involved in ensuring all procurement and incoming returning tissue operations are well managed, delivering consistent excellence in standards, in line with Innoved’s values and expectations. 
  • Continuous evaluation of task efficiency and effectiveness of the tissue services team.
  • Facilitate the identification of issues and solutions in processing and recovery of new donors as well as all returning specimens.
  • Effectively lead collaborative efforts with processing and recovery team to facilitate all special procurement requests. 
  • Manage the implementation of key strategies; fostering an environment of accountability to create a high performing team. 
  • Accountable for the vision and execution of the operational roadmap to promote program growth and operational efficiencies.
  • Design and execute plans with the Program Director for standard operating procedure improvements.  
  • Must become an expert on client needs, with respect to procurement and recovery needs. 
  • Ensure proper execution of training that is interactive, creative, meaningful and sets up the employee for success.
·        Plan and lead regular meetings with team to present any future issues/updates.·        Ensure all team tasks are updated and accurate in internal computer systems at the appropriate record level.  

  • Maintain all return records accuracy and completion. 
  • Provides regular feedback to the recovery and processing team
  • Convey any staffing or task completion concerns to senior management staff.
  • Facilitates the identification of issues and solutions by team members.
  • Assist assigned staff in establishing daily/weekly workflows to accomplish company objectives.
  • Handle human resource functions and report any human resource issues to senior management.
Additional tasks to include assist other departments as needed, all training is provided Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • A curiosity & a general comfort in working with human cadaveric specimen
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Team-oriented mindset
  • Self-motivated, professional and detail oriented.
  • Proven ability to multi-task effectively
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Computer proficiency including working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
  • Previous event planning experience preferred.
