Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

About Us: Untapped Potential is dedicated to providing comprehensive wraparound services that support children and families facing complex behavioral and emotional challenges. Our mission is to offer personalized care that empowers families to overcome obstacles, achieve stability, and thrive in their communities.

Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavioral Aid to join our Wraparound Services team. The ideal candidate will work directly with children and families, providing hands-on behavioral support and helping to implement individualized care plans. This role requires someone who is patient, empathetic, and skilled in working with children with behavioral challenges.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one support to children in home, school, and community settings as part of a wraparound services plan.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of behavior intervention strategies tailored to each child's needs.
  • Monitor and document the child’s behavior, progress, and any changes observed during sessions.
  • Collaborate with the Wraparound Services Coordinator, families, and other service providers to ensure consistency in care.
  • Support children in developing coping skills, social skills, and other necessary life skills.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss progress and adjust care plans as needed.
  • Help families understand and implement behavior strategies in their everyday routines.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support during challenging situations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; coursework in psychology, education, or a related field is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in social services, case management, or a related field.
  • Previous experience working with children with behavioral challenges, ideally within a wraparound services model.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
  • Ability to remain calm and patient in stressful situations.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
