Position: Behavioral Aid – Wraparound Services for Children and Families
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavioral Aid to join our Wraparound Services team. The ideal candidate will work directly with children and families, providing hands-on behavioral support and helping to implement individualized care plans. This role requires someone who is patient, empathetic, and skilled in working with children with behavioral challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support to children in home, school, and community settings as part of a wraparound services plan.
- Assist in the development and implementation of behavior intervention strategies tailored to each child's needs.
- Monitor and document the child’s behavior, progress, and any changes observed during sessions.
- Collaborate with the Wraparound Services Coordinator, families, and other service providers to ensure consistency in care.
- Support children in developing coping skills, social skills, and other necessary life skills.
- Participate in regular team meetings to discuss progress and adjust care plans as needed.
- Help families understand and implement behavior strategies in their everyday routines.
- Provide crisis intervention and support during challenging situations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; coursework in psychology, education, or a related field is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in social services, case management, or a related field.
- Previous experience working with children with behavioral challenges, ideally within a wraparound services model.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
- Ability to remain calm and patient in stressful situations.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
