Responsibilities
- Assists providers with orthopedic procedures in the office and acts as a resource for patients regarding their orthopedic care.
- Apply casts, splints and dressings.
- Remove staples, sutures and drains.
- Proficient in venipunctures.
- Administers orthotic braces and devices.
- Collect results of patients’ tests from the laboratory or imaging, sort them out and make them available to the provider before he/she attends to patients.
Qualifications
- Bilingual (English / Spanish)
- Must have the ability to handle multiple priorities, ability to work independently, and possess good clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
- Preferred but NOT required: One year as a medical assistant in an office setting.
- Experience in casting and DME NOT Required – We will teach you

All offices are following CDC and State Health Department Guidelines for mask wearing and social distancing for patients, employees, and providers.
Education:
High school or equivalent (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- BLS Certification (Preferred)
- Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
Work Location: Currently hiring for our Glendale office.
Work Days: Monday through Friday.
