ICU Registered Nurse - local Trauma Hospital

We are seeking highly motivated and compassionate nurses to join our team at a leading trauma hospital in Southern California. As a trauma nurse, you will be an integral part of our fast-paced and dynamic team, providing the highest level of care to patients in critical condition.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional patient care for critically injured patients in the emergency department, ICU, and other areas of the hospital as required.
  • Perform advanced nursing procedures, including airway management, ventilator support, and invasive monitoring.
  • Work collaboratively with physicians, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for each patient.
  • Participate in patient and family education and discharge planning.
  • Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Current California RN license and BLS/ACLS certification.
  • At least one year of experience as a registered nurse in an acute care setting.
  • Experience working with trauma patients preferred.
  • Strong critical thinking, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
