Job SummaryWe are seeking a licensed (NMLS required) Loan Officer to join our team. In this role, you will evaluate and pre-qualify loan applications. Your responsibilities will include interviewing applicants to gather financial information, evaluating creditworthiness, and reviewing credit, debt, income and assets. The ideal candidate has excellent communication and customer service skills and a deep understanding of current lending practices and regulations.  Responsibilities 
  • Interview applicants to gather financial information
  • Educates the prospect on the process of getting pre-qualified (explains the 4 factors)
  • Evaluate creditworthiness
  • Document review of credit, debt, income and assets
  • Product and Pricing- Pricing out different products based on the borrower’s loan
  • Assist clients in understanding the terms and conditions of their loan disclosures
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current financial services and types of loans
  • Loan Estimate review
  • Closing Disclosure review
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Loan Officer 
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, databases, and loan origination software
  • Knowledge of lending products and practices
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to perform in a goal-oriented environment
** Must have a minimum of 1 year experience as a licensed mortgage loan originator **
