Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDistribution Driver Peoplelink Staffing Solutions, in partnership with a prominent logistics company in the Lafayette, IN area, is seeking vehicle inspectors to join their team This is a climate-controlled facility offering a wide range of perks such as full benefits, 401K, and profit sharingDistribution Driver Job Summary:
  • Pay: $16-17 an hour
  • Shifts Available:
    • 1st Shift: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm Mon-Fri
    • 2nd Shift: 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm Mon-Fri
    • 3rd Shift: 10:00 pm to 6:00 am Sun-Thurs
  • Drive units to and from SIA and WWL facilities as necessary
  • May locate and identify misplaced units
  • Verifies that label matches VIN plate and work order
  • Adheres to all safety and vehicle damage prevention procedures, including speed limits, uniform and PPE requirements
  • Work in all weather conditions; extreme hot and cold, rain, snow, etc
Distribution Driver Qualifications:
  • Must possess valid US driver’s license and a good driving record
  • Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to read and interpret detailed technical directions
  • Must have been in current position for at least 6 months to be considered for transfer
  • Must be willing to adhere to daily overtime requirements
