Job Summary:
This position will complete all aspects of part finishing of CNC machined parts. Including deburring, cleaning, assembling, and maintaining quality of final products. This position will be for someone who shows the ability to apply dexterity, care and a critical eye when finishing complex machined components. The position involves creation of both cosmetic and critical finishes on parts utilized in the electronics, aerospace, and semiconductor industries.
Day Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, Overtime as needed.
Pay Range is DOE, pay range is $20 to $25 per hour.
This full-time position is benefited after 60 days. Health care, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k) with match and PTO.
Essential responsibilities include:
· Work from drawings and/or written instructions to complete machined parts to customer specifications.
· Performs finishing, polishing, assembly and deburring activities using a variety of hand tools and machinery.
· Maintain quality and consistency of final product from run to run across many part and material types.
· Complete installation of hardware and/or final assembly of parts and components.
· Manage time and executes priorities with urgency to keep orders on track to meet customers due dates.
· Perform additional duties as needed.
This job requires:
· Ability to read and follow both written and verbal instructions and comprehend part prints.
· Good Integrity and a willingness to be part of a team. Learn, teach, and improve each other’s skills and abilities.
· Ability to stand, walk, grasp, twist, bend, reach, pull with hand and wrist, kneel, and/or routinely lift to
50lbs as needed during your assigned shift.
· Follow safety procedures, policies, and standards always.
· Ability to effectively use deburring tools, electric sanders, arbor press, X-Acto Knife, and files.
· Comfortable handling and working around metal and plastic machined parts while minimizing risk or damage.
· Basic math skills include addition, subtraction, and multiplication.
Desired candidates will have:
· Attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency from part to part.
· Preference will be given to candidates with prior machine shop experience.
· The ability to maintain a highly organized workspace.
· Above average manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and strong mechanical aptitude.
· Team collaborator – Flexible and willing to help others as needs and tasks change often.
· Enjoys fast pace and rapidly changing environment.
· Preference will be given to candidates with prior machine shop experience.
