HIRING 
Commercial Concrete Foreman/Supervisor  
(Travel Required) 
 
The below statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this job. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 
• Must have a minimum of 10 years of concrete experience.  Prior experience as a commercial foreman is preferred.  
• Heavy physical effort required including pulling and lifting or moving heavy weight material with frequent lifting or moving materials or equipment (over 80 pounds). 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES 
• Must have good ability to read and interpret plans and convey to others how to complete the work shown. 
• Must be able to operate a mini excavator to dig footings and do fine grading. 
• Must be able to operate a skid steer. 
• Oversee crews performing concrete work. 
• Communicate construction needs --material, equipment, and staffing in a timely manner to Superintendent to prevent delays. 
• Providing adequate resources and staffing to meet project schedules, laws, regulations, best practices, and safety needs 
• Inspect work areas throughout construction process to ensure the quality and accuracy of work meets specifications and that crew meets productivity goals. 
• Monitor and ensure that crew follows safety policies and procedures. 
• Work with the project manager to maintain adequate resources and staffing to meet project schedules, laws, regulations, best practices, and safety needs 
• Help employees maintain accurate records of the number of hours worked through an app-based time management software. 
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. 
• Resolving conflicts or miscommunications quickly and amicably 
• Experienced with concrete tools. Bull float, power screed, power trowel, hand tools, etc. 
• Candidate must have a good work ethic and work as a team player. 
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, or overtime as needed – overnight travel and work outside for extended periods during all seasons of the year may be required at times 
• Position requires ability to exchange ideas quickly and clearly and the ability to receive and evaluate detailed information and instructions.
