The Scientific Team at Russell Tobin & Associates is supporting an American pharmaceutical organization that has an opening for a QC Chemist near Rocky Mount, NC

Responsibilities

  • Performs chemical analyses (dissolution, assay/degradant, content uniformity and ID) of pharmaceutical products in a GMP laboratory.
  • Meets testing deadlines.
  • Data entry
  • Perform laboratory upkeep – stock supplies, chemicals, equipment maintenance, etc.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related.
  • 1 year experience
  • Understanding of analytical chemistry instrumentation (HPLC, GC, Dissolution, Automation, Spectroscopy – UV/Vis, NIR, IR, or AA/AE)

Additional Details:

  • Onsite position
  • Position type: 6-month contract with potential for extension/conversion
  • Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 6am-6:30pm (36 hours per week)
  • Training will start 1st shift 7am-5:30pm till Sept 2024 and then will transition to weekend shift.
  • Pay rate: $21-24/hr depending on experience

Must be authorized to work in the United States.
