Position overview:

The Warehouse Associate will work in a fast-paced environment, performing a variety of duties and tasks associated with Pharmaceutical Distribution.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review and document inbound shipments for accuracy and appropriate product storage requirements
  • Stock inventory in a FIFO manner in appropriated storage areas.
  • Maintain all inbound shipment documents as required by law
  • Perform daily inventory counts and report any discrepancies
  • Review sales orders for accuracy
  • Pick and/or pack products for shipments following internal guidelines and packaging specifications.
  • Create necessary carrier documentation for shipping purposes
  • Record shipment data and maintain records, files, and reports
  • Deliver or pick-up of packages/products to/from local facilities (Carrier sites, Customer Site, etc.) when necessary
  • Maintain warehouse in a clean and organized manner
  • Assist in other company duties as required.  Example of other duties may be document shredding, replenish office supplies, including kitchen and bathroom needs.
  • On Call duties during non-regular business hours (evenings, early mornings, weekends, and holidays)
  • Overtime may be required

Required experience:

  • At least 2 years experience in a warehouse distribution position

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook and Calendar)

  • Basic knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems as it relates to one's activities

  • Proficiency of use of office and warehouse machinery

Personal Characteristics:

  • Good communication skills, bilingual a plus
  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Quality focused with an emphasis on attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude
  • Customer service oriented
  • Ability to communicate and interact with employees at all levels within the organization
  • Must be a team player
  • Must be organized

 

Physical Demands of the Position:

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual may be required to lift packages of up to eighty (80) pounds
  • This position requires standing for long periods of time
