Job Title: Business Analyst Operations I Operations/Smart Connected Warehouse Analyst- 39462- John Deere

Job Description:

• Responsible for evaluating existing business processes, recommends and implements process improvements, assist and/or leads resolving business process problems and serves as a resource for addressing daily production or process related issues.
• May include developing recommending and implementing pricing strategies, developing Order Fulfillment Process (OFP) processes and recommending master schedule changes.

Duties:

• Evaluates existing business processes and assists in resolving issues that arise relating to those processes.
• Ensures that unit processes are in alignment with the Division processes and objectives.
• Manages the Order Fulfillment Process by developing, recommending and implementing strategies to the master schedule.
• Investigates, analyzes and resolves business process issues in order to correct deficiencies, reduce costs and improve processes and performance.
• Analyzes business forecasts, recommends changes to the business schedules and creates and maintains master production schedules and shipping schedules.
• Participates in and facilitates regularly scheduled meetings with management and representatives from the factory and marketing to discuss current and future business process needs, both current and future.

Your Responsibilities:

• As a SCW Analyst for client A&CS Part Services located in Milan, IL you will work In collaboration with your customers and teammates, directly support the advancement of the Smart Connected Warehouse (SCW) initiative at client driving transformational change to Warehouse Management solutions and processes via new and advanced capabilities-- by configuring and testing systems in support of the global design, local layout and functional requirements.

• Provide production support for facilities with modern solutions deployed including deploying new capabilities as they are developed
• Create training documentation for warehouse office and floor staff. Perform end-user training and directly support implementations.

What Skills You Need (Required skills/experiences)

• 1+ year experience working within Operations and/or Engineering function
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

What Makes You Stand Out (Desired skills/experiences)

• 2+ years of experience working in warehouse or other operation
• 2+ years of experience working in an engineering role in support or operations
• Experience Training personnel (processes, best practices)
• Experience supporting operations in the use of technical tools or IT systems

Education:

• Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

• Degree in Engineering/Technology discipline or equivalent experience. - University Degree (4 years or equivalent)
• Degree in Business/Management discipline or equivalent experience. - University Degree (4 years or equivalent)
