Job Summary:

We are hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair production equipment. Responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and resolving issues with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.

Shift:

2nd (2pm-10pm), 3rd shift (10pm-6am)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance on production machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. This includes inspecting, cleaning, lubricating, and making adjustments to equipment.
  • Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose and resolve a wide range of issues affecting industrial, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. This involves identifying root causes of failures, developing and implementing solutions, and testing equipment to ensure proper operation.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Accurately complete and maintain administrative documents related to maintenance
  • activities. Follow established procedures and guidelines to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
  • Technical Expertise: Apply technical knowledge to troubleshoot complex issues and implement effective solutions. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and technological advancements.
  • Independent Work: Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision, taking initiative to address and resolve issues as they arise. Manage time effectively to balance routine maintenance tasks with urgent repair needs.

Required Skills:

  • Educational Background: A high school diploma or equivalent experience is required. Additional technical training or certifications related to industrial maintenance are advantageous.
  • Industrial Experience: A minimum of two years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment is essential. This experience should include exposure to a variety of production equipment and systems.
  • Apprenticeship Completion: Successful completion of a journeyman electrical apprenticeship or a journeyman industrial mechanic/millwright apprenticeship is required. This demonstrates advanced knowledge and practical skills in industrial maintenance and repair.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing industrial, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify issues, develop solutions, and implement repairs. Ability to think critically and make informed decisions under pressure.
  • Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail to ensure all maintenance and repair tasks are completed accurately and to high standards. Ability to spot potential issues before they result in equipment failure.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to interact with team members, document maintenance activities, and report on issues and resolutions. Ability to follow instructions and communicate clearly in both written and verbal forms.
