Job DescriptionJob Description

CMHA Clinical Services team has a current full-time (1.0 FTE) opportunity for a Clinician to join our team and coordinate and perform initial clinical assessments to determine eligibility for ongoing specialty mental health services.  This individual makes recommendations regarding diagnosis and necessary level of care based upon the needs of the identified within the clinical assessment and develops a preliminary individual plan of service for those individuals who are authorized for ongoing care and provides individual, group or family therapy to adults and/or children in the office setting utilizing evidence based models.

The successful candidate shall possess at least a master’s degree in social work, Counseling, Psychology and be licensed within scope of practice (LLMSW, LMSW, LLPC, LPC, TLLP, LLP) in the State of Michigan is preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age; possess a valid driver’s license; pass a criminal and professional background check, and have access to a reliable, insured vehicle.  One to three years of experience in examination, evaluation, and treatment of adults with serious mental illness and /or minors and their families ideal.
