Additional Duties and Responsibilities

  • Produce schedules to support Production, as needed.
  • Monitor raw material deliveries to support the Production Schedule.
  • Identify inventory shorts and stock positions to help achieve/maintain committed build plans.
  • Create and update purchase orders with accurate delivery dates, as needed.
  • Monitor planned vs actual consumption to help refine standard usage values for Consumables.
  • Coordinate vendor returns for damages and non-conforming material.
  • Systematically maintain inventory levels for factory consumables, including office supplies.
  • Build and maintain vendor relationships through constant communication.

·        Reconcile PO quantity and receipt discrepancies, as needed

·        Other duties, as assigned.

The position has no direct reports.

 

Requirements (Education, Certificates, Licenses, Registrations, etc.)

·        An associates and/or bachelor’s degree in a related field or 10 plus years in supply chain.

·        3+ years of experience in a support role within a Manufacturing environment preferred.

·        Effective (written and verbal) communication and effective interpersonal skills.

·        Flexible to change and possess a high degree of integrity and a “can do attitude”.

·        Willing to work in a team environment and contribute to group goals.

·        Able to convert units of measurement, add, subtract multiply and divide.

·        Ability to receive and provide instructions in a positive manner.
