Immediate opening for Medical Assistant
Nationally recognized dermatology practice in a beautiful, professional park setting seeks an energetic and personable medical assistant to join our team. Every member is vital to our success. The candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, while learning new skills and providing excellent patient care. This position offers the opportunity for professional and personal growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES: CMA responsibilities include (but are not limited to) rooming patients, documenting patient information, clinical support, assisting physicians and answering patient questions.
WAGES/BENEFITS: Full-time, 36-40 hour per week position with hours ranging from 8:00 am - 4:30pm, based on weekly needs of the practice. We offer a competitive hourly wage based on experience; medical and dental insurance in addition to retirement benefits. Employees receive significant discounts on retail medical grade skin care products, cosmetic products and skin care treatments.
REQUIREMENTS:
· At least two years of medical assisting experience required
· Dermatology experience preferred, but not required
· Experience with NextGen Enterprise EHR/PM software preferred, but not required
· MA certificate of completion/diploma from medical vocational program (or equivalent work experience)
· Knowledge of vital signs is required
· Working knowledge of dermatology and dermatologic surgery a plus
· Knowledge of medical terminology
· Must be computer literate
· Medical Scribing Experience is a preferred, but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay:$17-$22 per hour
