As an Inside Sales Representative for our company, you’re going to be one of the voices that our customers come to know and love. You’ll help increase revenues by opening new accounts, suggestive selling, building and maintaining professional relationships, and coordinating and providing services for your customers. You’ll be taking orders for deliveries and pick-ups, as well as handling some mechanical troubleshooting for equipment over the phone. You’re the acting liaison between customers, sales, dispatch, and management to ensure quality solutions are developed for the benefit of all parties.

Requirements

Preferred Qualities/Experience:

  • Technologically capable: If you don’t know AS400 or CAD systems it’s okay but be willing to learn
  • Perform all routine rental transactions including creating rental reservations, scheduling the pickup of off rent equipment, creating rental quotes, and may include processing all returned driver, yard, and field service paperwork.
  • Assisting your fellow branch members in constructing and de-constructing trench shoring and MAP boxes as needed.
  • Taking pride in the knowledge that your work in the branch and in the yard is saving lives every day
  • Answering and document all incoming telephone calls. This includes assisting customers, outside sales, vendors, Sunstate administrative personnel, and all other inquiries.
  • Effectively coordinate and prioritize all deliveries, exchanges and pick-ups. This also includes ensuring all ‘Must Pick-ups’ are completed by the end of the day.
  • Communicate via two-way radio with the yard and shop relative to assisting customers in loading/unloading of equipment and communicating equipment needs for orders and at times may be required to help load/unload and deliver equipment for the customers.
