Position Overview

As a HELOC Coordinator, your main role will be to help members with home equity loans. You will provide accurate and helpful service to members and assist them with transactions, loan requests, and document requests. You'll need to understand real estate products and guidelines well. Your job will also involve offering the right financial solutions to members, processing applications according to lending guidelines, and effectively communicating loan details to move to the next stage. Throughout the loan process, you'll be expected to maintain effective communication with applicants.

The experience required for this role.

• Two to Five years of similar or related experience, including time spent in preparatory positions.

The position’s essential duties include the following:

• Assist clients with HELOC applications, providing guidance and support throughout the process.
• Review and verify application documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate with loan officers and underwriters to facilitate timely processing and approval of HELOC applications.
• Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on application status.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all HELOC transactions.
• Provide exceptional customer service and address any client inquiries or concerns.

The education required for this role.

• A two-year degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school. Completion of seminars and workshops in the Credit Union Industry. Active Registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS#)
