Lead Carpenter/Foreman

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced carpenter to join our team here at Welter. As a leader of our construction crew, you will be responsible for crafting, installing, and repairing various structures and fixtures according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent craftsmanship, problem solving skills, and a passion for creating high-quality work.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project specifications
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials to build structures such as cabinets, furniture, doors, and windows
• Install structures and fixtures, ensuring they meet required standards and specifications
• Repair or replace damaged wooden structures and fixtures
• Collaborate with other team members, including contractors and architects, to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to client satisfaction
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition, ensuring they are safe to use
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations on job sites

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a carpenter, with a minimum of [insert number] years in the field
