Position: Virtual School Psychologist (1099 Contractor)
Location: Remote (Must be licensed in Kansas)
Hours: Part and Full-Time Hours Available
The Role:
As a Virtual School Psychologist with VocoVision, you'll be an integral part of a team dedicated to removing barriers to education through virtual engagement. You'll provide direct support to students, applying your expertise in psychological assessment, intervention, and consultation through a secure, interactive online platform. This role not only allows you to work from the comfort of your own home but also offers the flexibility to manage your schedule effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments remotely to determine students' cognitive, emotional, and social functioning.
- Develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) and intervention plans in collaboration with educators and families.
- Provide counseling and support to students, addressing issues such as learning difficulties, social adjustment, and mental health concerns.
- Offer consultation services to school staff and parents to enhance the educational and emotional well-being of students.
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with laws and regulations.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
What We're Looking For:
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Valid KansasSchool Psychologist license.
- Experience in psychological assessment, counseling, and intervention with children and/or adolescents.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, parents, and educators in a virtual setting.
- Technical proficiency to utilize and navigate various online platforms and tools.
- A commitment to ethical practice, inclusivity, and ongoing professional development.
