INTERIM CONTROLLER

ABOUT THE COMPANY:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Interim Controller with previous experience in real estate and proficiency in Yardi.
  • We are a comprehensive real estate firm engaged in the development, ownership, operation, and provision of services for a diverse portfolio spanning over 7 million square feet, encompassing office spaces, industrial facilities, retail properties, and hotels.

OVERVIEW OF THE INTERIM CONTROLLER ROLE:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
  • Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets.
  • Interim Controller conducts financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Interim Controller collaborates with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
  • Provide support during audits and tax filings.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR INTERIM CONTROLLER ROLE:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field. CPA or CMA certification preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Controller or similar role in the real estate industry.
  • An Interim Controller with proficiency in Yardi or similar real estate management software.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
