Job Description -

A marketing analyst partners with the OU Integrated Marketing team and the larger marketing organization to assess and measure the marketing funnel for B2B and B2C marketing campaigns. The marketing analyst will dig into strategic questions where nuanced analysis, meaningful insights, and strong recommendations will play a key role in marketing campaign planning and execution.

The successful candidate will understand and keep up with industry trends for all digital channels including email, paid search, display, social media, and web. Additionally, they will be able to write clear, succinct, and actional reports for the marketing and sales organizations.

A Day in the Life

  • Develop a data driven approach to assess campaign performance and audience targeting.
  • Collaborate with our Sr. Digital Marketing Strategist to develop and track KPI metrics in an effort to optimize future campaign tactics.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for the larger marketing organization, including executive leaders.
  • Work with the larger marketing organization to identify lead opportunities and communicate those to the marketing and sales organization.
  • Pull and merge marketing list data that provides targeting for various marketing campaigns.
  • Use social listening tools to understand customer behaviors and insights to fuel future campaigns and assist in issues management, as needed.
  • Work to make an impact on the team by uncovering opportunities and efficiencies within current workstreams and dataset analysis.
  • Communicate and collaborate with internal corporate partners and third-party vendors as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 3+ years of experience in a marketing, data science or similar function
  • Strong track record of marketing data analysis with marketing campaigns
  • An analytical mind who uses a test and learn' approach
  • A desire to uncover and develop efficiencies in processes
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Adobe Analytics, Talkwalker, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Clarity or similar tools
  • Ability to work in a matrixed environment while balancing multiple priorities and ensuring high-quality outcomes while keeping complex projects moving forward.
