Job Description: We are looking for a highly skilled Comptroller to oversee all financial aspects of our company. The Comptroller will be responsible for managing accounting records, financial statements, and budgets, as well as developing and implementing financial policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, finance, and management, with proven experience in leading financial teams and driving strategic financial planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of the company's financial management, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, analysis, and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Manage cash flow, investments, and banking relationships to optimize financial performance and liquidity.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory agencies as needed.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes to inform strategic decision-making and mitigate financial risks.

Requirements:

  • Master’s or Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
  • years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles, with 5 years in a leadership or managerial capacity
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, regulations, and reporting standards (GAAP, IFRS, etc.)
  • Proven ability to develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make informed recommendations.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel. Extremely proficient with QuickBooks both online and desktop. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) a plus.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve common goals.
  • Clean Record: Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Pay: Starting at $82,000.00 per year
