About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Construction Bookkeeper to join our team in Poughkeepsie. If you are proficient in QuickBooks and have at least two years of experience in the construction industry, we want to hear from you
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain financial records for construction projects.
- Process accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
- Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers and contractors to track project expenses.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in QuickBooks.
- Minimum of two years of bookkeeping experience in the construction industry.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
