As a Class B CDL Driver at Hampton Roads Hauling, you will be responsible for driving a dump truck to haul construction aggregate between locations. You will need to communicate respectfully with others in the industry, follow directions accurately, and maintain a good driving record.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive a dump truck to transport construction aggregate between various locations.
  • Ensure safe and timely delivery of materials.
  • Communicate respectfully and effectively with other industry professionals.
  • Follow all company and industry safety standards and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and materials transported.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
  • Follow directions from dispatch and supervisors accurately.
  • Perform routine maintenance and report any issues or needed repairs.

Requirements:

  • Valid Class B CDL with a good driving record.
  • Previous experience driving a dump truck and hauling construction aggregate is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate respectfully and effectively within the industry.
  • TWIC/DBIDS certification is a plus and can increase pay.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
  • Ability to follow directions accurately.
  • Excellent time-management skills.
