Job DescriptionJob Description

Armavel is seeking a fully remote Project Manager/User Experience Designer to create and manage satisfying and compelling experiences for users of an automation onboarding process at a large federal agency. The successful candidate will perform a mix of user experience and project management tasks aimed at supporting the automation center of excellence (CoE). These tasks will include customer-facing projects like running meetings, managing customer communications, and creating websites and content aimed at customers. Tasks will also involve internal projects like organizing and managing documentation repositories and presenting customer experience metrics and feedback to internal process stakeholders. While there is some graphic design involved, you don’t have to be an expert graphic designer – some talent and interest in that area is all you need.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Management of Sharepoint sites:
    • 1. customer facing CoE site and content
    • 2. internal project site organization
    • 3. internal security repository organization
  • Reorganization and management of Confluence (internal documentation) site with input from technical content contributors
  • User experience research
    • Management of surveys and customer feedback; analyzing user feedback and activity, and iterating to enhance the user experience
    • Explaining user research results to internal and external stakeholders
    • Developing personas and usage scenarios
  • Creating website wireframes, storyboards, sitemaps and screen flows
  • Assisting with content development
  • Setup and maintenance of Microsoft Teams channels for project communication between multiple stakeholder groups
  • Project Management of new inquiries
    • running intake and discovery calls
    • managing follow ups with customers
    • keeping project tickets up to date

 

Other responsibilities:

·      Blog post and newsletter content creation

  • Graphic design of ad hoc marketing materials, PowerPoint slides, etc. as needed

 

Requirements:

·      Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of related experience, or 10+ years of total experience – we are flexible on what “related” means; we care more about the type of person you are and your ability to do the job than what you’ve done in the past.

·      Ability to communicate how you organize tasks and activities; bonus points if you can demonstrate it for us.

·      Talent and interest in graphic design and content creation – show us your portfolio

·      Ability to work very well with others. We like to solve problems, treat people graciously, and have fun. If that resonates with you, you’ll fit right in.

·      You should enjoy taking ownership of tasks and projects.

  • You must be a US citizen able to pass a federal background investigation.
  • This job is fully remote, but you must be within the US while performing work.
